NASA’s fourth annual Power to Explore Student Challenge kicked off in November. The writing challenge invites K-12th graders in the U.S. to study radioisotope power systems, which are essential to many of NASA’s far-reaching space missions. Write an essay about a new nuclear-powered mission to any moon in our solar system, but hurry, submissions are due Jan. 31, 2025.
